Cabbage IngredientsPicnic Salad

1 cup shredded cabbage
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped carrot
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
1 fennel bulb teaspoon of leaves bitten
1/4 teaspoon salt
How to make cabbage picnic:

In a small saucepancombine vinegar, honey and salt.
Bring to a boil.
Add cabbage, carrot, green pepper and onion.
Cook for 1-2 minutes or until tender.
Remove from heat.
Top fennel.
Let cool for 10 minutes.
Transfer to a serving bowl.
Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until chilled.
Slaw picnic is now ready.

Serve with chicken skewers with honey glazed.
Yield: 2 servings
